“What will my next project be about?” is an informal meeting for researchers interested in applying for research projects, organized by the Department of Science and Research at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague since November 2023.

What to expect:
The meeting aims to provide a platform for presenting research project ideas to a multidisciplinary audience and to provide tips on effectively communicating these ideas in project proposals.
Who should not miss this event:
This workshop’s target audience includes early-career researchers, particularly Ph.D. students and postdocs, as well as junior and senior academic faculty.
The following colleagues will attend the meeting to assist you with:
- Stephanie Krueger, Independent Academic Consultant, Fornobia Consulting: Conveying your story in an international context,
- Zuzana Baziková, Head of the Department of Science and Research, Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague: Identifying available funding schemes and understanding the financial aspects involved,
- Jan Zeman, Deputy Vice Dean for Research, Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague, and a member of the Open Mechanics Group: Highlighting the main strengths of your research ideas.
